We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use profile data or message content for third-party advertising.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are in the EEA or UK, we process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract: where processing is necessary to provide the Services you request, such as creating your account, displaying your profile, enabling messaging, administering subscriptions, and providing customer support;
  • Legitimate interests: where necessary for service security, fraud prevention, product improvement, analytics, moderation, network and information security, and defending legal claims, provided our interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Consent: where you have given consent, such as where required for precise location, optional tracking technologies, certain notifications, or the processing of special-category data you choose to provide for profile or matching features; and
  • Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with legal or regulatory duties.

Where you choose to provide information that reveals sexual orientation, gender identity, sex life, or similarly sensitive information, we process that information for profile, matching, safety, and community features on the basis of your explicit consent and, where applicable, because you choose to make that information visible to other users through the Services. You can edit or remove profile information at any time, and you may also request deletion of your account and related personal information, subject to limited retention permitted by law.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal, and some features may stop working if the information or permission is necessary to provide them.

5. Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, mobile SDKs, local storage, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar technologies to:
