AFAB- Assigned Female At Birth.

ANON-Short for “anonymous.” Probably won’t want to invest a lot of time with this one.

Androgynous- is a broad term that refers to an individual’s choice of style. Somebody who is androgynous presents themself to the world in a way that isn’t defined by “looking like a girl” or “looking like a boy.”

Asexual- is the lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity.

Agender- Agender means literally “not having a gender”.

Baby Dyke- Someone who recently came out as a lesbian.

Bator- People who tend to enjoy masturbating with others over penetration.

B/D- Bondage and/or domination. Feeling kinky?

Bed Death-The stereotypical idea that relationships between two women will eventually lead to a sexless life.

Butch- You know her when you see her. She wears men’s clothing, short hair, no makeup and she makes girls moan just by winking at them.

Bottom- Bottoms tend to be more submissive and prefer to receive sexual pleasure than to give it.

Boi- Gender expression, as well as allowing people to identify as a boi.

Comphet- is the theory that heterosexuality is assumed and enforced upon women by a patriarchal and heteronormative society.

Can’t host- can’t have people over to hookup, possibly has a roommate, parents or lives with an ex.

Chapstick Lesbian- A lesbian who presents somewhere between masculine and feminine, often dressing in comfortable or sensible clothing. See also: Soft butch.

Closeted- Not out on social media, to some or all friends and family members.

Celesbian- A famous lesbian

Cliterference- is when someone gets in the way of you flirting, making out, or having sex with a girl you're interested in. Essentially, the queer lady version of cock blocking.

Dykon- A famous woman (not necessarily gay), who is popular among queer women and seen as a gay icon.

Discreet- Someone who values their privacy (could be closeted) and all they want is to build a little trust first.

Dominant- Give her pleasure how she wants it, and when she wants it

Dopplebanger, Someone who is attracted to someone who looks just like them

Femme- A lesbian who identifies as a woman and falls into the traditionally feminine mannerisms and style.

Free later?- This could mean for some people ‘hang same day’ but most are too afraid to ask ‘are you free tonight?’

FWB- Friends with benefits (the main benefit being sexual pleasure).

Hookup- Meet up in a safe and comfortable place to have sex

Hosting- Someone who’s parents or roommate(s) are away, or they live alone

Stud- A butch woman or non-binary person who is Black or Latinx

Vulva- The entrance to the vagina
